Everyone's like a harlequin.
What we see isn't what we always get.
We see people's actions, behaviors and personalities,
and act as though we know everything about them.

Not true.
Much like a harlequin,
everyone has little strings attached to them.
Many of which are constantly pulling them into numerous actions and decision.
As we journey in life,
some strings get attached along the way.
These strings may be new friends or enemies, a new environment, a new problem and such.
While new strings are attached,
some strings snap, and lose their power of influence.

These strings are what we don't usually see.
They are translucent and sometimes transparent,
and we know not about it.
We look right through this strings,
and see the person standalone.
We make the assumption that this person hasn't gone through any difficulties,
as though this person hasn't had a feud, hasn't been through a crisis, doesn't have any emotions and whatever crap we ourselves have been through.

Unknowingly,
we might have attached another string to this person we despise.
That string would be know as "Low-self esteem",
or in other words, "Everybody-hates-me".

It would be ideal,
It would be great.
If we could just take time to understand ourselves as well as others.
Maybe then,
would we be more compassionate and wise.

To look at others with no strings attached,
and to behave like yourself with no strings attached,
would be a hard thing to do.

..but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
