Symposium's Tomorrow.
Monday, November 17, 2008
Work today was pretty much disappointing.
I don't get in what way was I not focused at all.
I can't hide my sleepiness as well as others,
but i won't say i havn't tried.

I feel unappreciated,
..and the rudeness today was uncalled for.
Don't let anger consume you,
and sometimes it's not about giving problems to others,
or taking one's own personal interest.
It feels really degrading,
especially when no one puts effort to understand,
and you end up doing what you hoped not to do,
and the horrible outcome you expected turned out to be.

It just feels really horrible.

Forgiving is never enough,
but sometimes when you're always the one letting go,
and cycles keep repeating with no understanding,
it just really sucks.

I know finger pointing is bad and all,
and i have my faults too!
But i'm slowly learning from them,
and it would really do good if people at least put in effort,
not just a finger-snap of an effort,
but a long-term one, just to try and improve.

..You know,
Melissa lost her Symposium Tee today,
and because some of the T-shirts today,
was just taken without me knowing,
the sizes were all messed up.
So for the last Shirt i gave out(I didn't have one),
it was for Miss Low,
Melissa's teacher mentor for programme.
So as i passed the shirt to Miss Low,
she was like, "Melissa lost her shirt right?"
"Just give it to her."

when i heard that, i just felt like touched all of the sudden.
I don't think Miss Low paid $15 for the shirt to receive nothing.
But i could sense the charity she had, when she spoke about this.
At that moment, i somehow felt happy.
It gives joy when you see others doing good and all.
..And that small moment made me feel happy for awhile.
..Like some people just care so much for others and stuff.

Another thing that made me feel kinda happy today,
was how the NCC maintained high spirits throughout the whole day's work.
I would say frankly that sometimes,
they seem really rowdy and playful.
But i just like it how they keep their spirits together.
Today, at the super big briefing with Miss Tee there,
The NCC team was like the most cheerful of everyone there,
they were noisy yes,
but all the more, it kept the working spirit in the atmosphere high,
and i like that.

Symposium Committee & Crew,
If there's a time to be a team and care for one another,
it's now.
Make it or break it,
it's ours to decide

I have faith that we will be able to make it.
And at the end of the day tomorrow,
we will just laugh how we went through everything as a committee,
bad, hard and good times.
And not only will we have a lighter chest,
we'll also feel a sense of satisfaction.

Let's make it altogether.

Joel Jonas.
